Whether you’re an avid RV aficionado, a tent camper, or just getting a taste for the camping world, it’s hard to beat a well-organized RV show for inspiration, making connections with other campers, and exploring the newest and best in the RV world. And in the Indianapolis area, you have plenty of options.
1. Fort Wayne RV & Camping Show
Hop down the road to Fort Wayne January 31st-February 3rd, and you’ll be rewarded with a huge indoor RV and camping show featuring hundreds of new RV’s on display, some of the best deals you’ll find on last year’s RV’s, and even info about campgrounds and state parks all over the U.S. to help plan your 2019 spring or summer RV getaway. The Fort Wayne RV & Camping Show will be held in the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum in Fort Wayne.
2. The Indianapolis Boat, Sport, and Travel Show
This show is billed as the biggest in the state–partially because it covers more than just RV’s. Here you’ll find hundreds of RV’s on display as well as boats, ATV’s, toy haulers, and more at a massive show that spans a full nine days (Feb. 15-24th) at the Indiana State Fairgrounds. With over 700,000 square feet of vendors, this is a great place to lose track of time as you explore the possibilities and meet other campers. Discounted tickets are available if you purchase them online in advance of the event.
3. Spring Hall of Fame RV Show
Located in Elkhart, Indiana, the Spring Hall of Fame RV Show is always a favorite among Indiana campers. Some call Elkhart the RV capital of the world for good reason; the RV/MH Hall of Fame lives here, housing the 250 vendors that come from all over the country to showcase their campers and camping accessories. The Spring Hall of Fame show happens May 2-5th this year.
Keep in mind that if you decide to take the plunge and invest in a new RV or camper this season, your first call should be to make sure you have the RV insurance you need to keep it covered, whether it’s parked in your driveway or on the road heading for your next adventure.
